We are continuing to work on the Mapping of data potential for Caseworks. Having successfully geo-coded the whole of one of our customer’s databases - Complainants, Offenders and Incidents - we are now looking a mapping packages which might meet the needs of our customers. The package known as Maptitude (TM) is currently under evaluation and the initial results look impressive. With very little effort Caseworks Data was linked to the package, ensuring full refresh whenever an existing map is opened. There is both a desktop facility which allows HUBSolutions to create maps and an online facility which allows us to share maps with out customers. The maps include a heat-map (hot spot) facility and the ability to label mapped points with any field from caseworks. Consultation with customers has begun.
