The Caseworks Anti-Social Behaviour Computer System / Community Safety Computer System

A totally customisable and secure web-based system designed for Caseworkers in Local Authorities and Social Housing to manage the recording, processing and reporting of Anti-social Behaviour Cases.

The Anti-Social Behaviour computer system allows for….

    • Any number of KPIs can be created on data entry. Intelligently linked to the existence of a Victim or Perpetrator of known name and address

    • Each KPI is linked to an action which clears it

    • Each KPI has a target date - a calendar entry for Outlook is automatically sent to the user’s calendar

    • A special caseload helps meet KPIs like Management Review

    • Contact Reminders repeatedly add a period to the last contact.

  • Correspondence based on Templates which can be written to PDF / Word and sent by EMail / to printer etc

    • Full editing facilities within Caseworks using Word-like tools to control format etc.

    • Full mail-merge facilities relating to the page from which the Correspondence was created

  • Interfaces into and out of Caseworks. We have a very flexible and secure system for importing from other systems. Currently importing Rents Data from Gloucester, Leeds and Portsmouth. Currently exporting Case Data to Gloucester Tenancy System. Other customer interfaces include NLPG Property Data and Complaints Data

  • Online Training and re-training A free service to our small and medium customers which takes the burden away from managers, and ensure consistency of knowledge.

  • Genuine Partnership We commit our own resources in partnership with our customers, at no extra cost, if they have an ambitious pilot project. We currently have one such project located in Gloucestershire where dozens of new users have been trained and added to the system in a pilot initiative to spread the system to Rural Areas and fully involve the local Police forces.

New features added during 2021

  • Supervisors menu now embeds the live status of subordinate staff - last login, current record etc.

  • Additional options for the Grid List button which turns a Case History, or Person History into a downloadable Excel list

  • A new Multi-Search facility for entering up to 30 names and addresses required by a corporate meeting, performing 8 searches on each, and allowing the output to appear as a Caseload and a downloadable Excel Sheet.

New features added during 2022

  • In partnership with Portsmouth City Council, a new quick and simple screen for “just logging incidents” for use at the front desk where time is everything. The information will be sent to a Caseworker to decide whether it should be a new case / added to an existing case and whether it should be referred to Mediation or Signposted to another organisation like the Police. A real time saver!

  • Yet another interface into Caseworks is planned by a London Borough Environmental Health Service. Details of HMOs and Properties in their Private Rental Scheme will be automatically transferred to Caseworks for the attention of the ASB Team. In addition, Cases currently dealt with by Environmental Health are recorded on the Northgate M3 system will be transferred and re-updated into Caseworks - providing all the data in one place with no double updating.

New features added during 2023

  • Shared Caseload - another idea from our Portsmouth customer, so that when cases are referred to specialist teams, the Housing Staff continue to own them.

  • Process Mapping - a new facility to allow you redesign the system for the purposes of Reporting. You can group together data from any part of the system to include in reports as if from a single location

  • Multiline Reporting - to allow an entire case to be displayed in a single row of an Excel Sheet, by listing multiple records in the same cell

  • Send SMS messages to customers - to acknowledge receipt, arrange appointments and send closure surveys.

  • Survey Data entered online by customers is read back to the Caseworks Server, and populates a Survey Page within the Case and Survey Reports for download
