“Thanks so much for adding my suggestion so quickly and providing the guide” - South Lanarkshire Anti Social Behaviour Case Management Software.

Its a good feeling to be appreciated, and we often get comments like this. What made this one special, was that we actually received TWO comments, one from the Caseworker whose idea it was, and the other from her manager. What was the idea? We already had an option to record persons in the ASB case as a “Landlord”, but when the protagonists in the case were both private tenants, and therefore there were two landlord, it was not easy to identify which was which. South Lanarkshire have recorded over 1500 Private Landlords as significant individuals in their ASB Cases!

The solution was to introduce two new codes for the relationship of a person to a case - Landlord (of Complainant) and Landlord (of Perpetrator). But we thought the staff may not know how to change an existing Relationship from Landlord to either of the new options. There is a button called “Control functions” within the Person page which lets you do just that, so the inventor of the change not only got their wish come true, but received a user manual as well. All within 30 minutes of making the request.
