Issue Log

The Issue Log, is a powerful web enabled database serving us and our customers.

It allows customers to record "Issues" concerning our systems online, and then monitor progress.
It allows us to allocate and priorities our work and monitor our performance.

Issues are Faults, Training Needs, Customisation Requests, Enhancement Requests and Quality Assurance checks.
Faults are given target times based upon our maintenance contracts. Other priorities are given manual target dates based upon urgency and workload.

The system provides us with a variety of other tools to help us provide a better faster service - such as a Knowledge base, to reduce dependence on a few experts.

All of our customers have an account on the system, which enables them to log in, record their own issues, and review other issues raised on their account. Increasingly our systems will include a hyperlink directly into the specific account of the system.
