Community Protection is a new service for Local
Government. Multi-Agency Working with the Police,
Voluntary Agencies, partners in the judiciary
process, RSLs is also new and the rules of
engagement are still being written.
In
working with customers, introducing new systems to
meet these requirements, we have undertaken many

Revenues & Benefits
We are experts in the Sx3, Academy and HBIS systems
and are familiar with all leading Electronic
Document Management Systems in use with Revs &
Bens.
We have experience of project management, systems
analysis, procurement, bidding for DWP funding,
contract management, specification of requirements,
migrations, writing bespoke software.
Analysing
Problems, Finding Solutions, Getting Funding and
Procurement
We will often undertake problem analysis at no
cost, and take an independent look at your IT setup
in Revenues and Benefits. Our proposals will vary
from system adjustments, system add-ons to whole
scale replacement. We have experience of all three
and NEVER recommend a drastic solution, if there is
a simpler, low cost alternative.
No IT solution is likely to be cheap –
whether we provide the solution or we recommend
purchasing resources from your existing software
supplier – so we are happy to assist you in
meeting the criteria needed for Performance
Standards Funding – and if that isn’t
possible, we will help cost justify the development
within your organisation.
Procurement
and Migration
If you want to replace your whole Revenues and
Benefits system or replace / purchase an EDMS
(Document Management) system, you will probably
realise that procurement and project management are
high risk areas. Migration is never as easy or
complete as your new vendor will claim,
configuration is more than just making arbitrary
choices, timing the whole thing with your annual
billing cycle and commitments is crucial and
contingencies are absolutely essential at every
stage.
We
have experience of procurement of replacing
Revenues and Benefits and EDMS systems, of
migration from legacy systems to Oracle databases,
of migrating one Oracle database to another, of
project management, of writing conversion scripts
and of configuration. Our systems
knowledge includes Sx3 iWorld, HBIS and Academy. We
have inside information on the data
structure and configuration of all these
systems.
HBIS
problems?
We have a consultant working with two London
Boroughs on the HBIS system. We are authorised
vendors of a low cost, incredibly flexible
reporting tool for the HBIS system, known as
Monarch™. There are a lot of decisions
coming up for HBIS users, as the system is replaced
before 2007. Talk to independent experts.

problems?
We have experience of i-world migrations including
senior management and project management. We have
written reports, add-on systems and
interfaces. We have many industry contacts we
can call on for really specialist help in this
area. We have a library of useful reports.Talk to

Academy
problems?
We have two Academy experts, and we are
collaborating with Academy (CAPITA) on an add-on
product. We can customise the Academy letters to
make them schedule 6 compliant and achieve many
other improvements. We are experts in ADS report
writing system and can offer training to your
managers. We can write Academy SQL –
including update routines for bulk corrections,
CTAX recovery and automated SPD reviews. Come
to us, for a service no-one else is offering.

Housing
Consultancy
Our intention is to bring our knowledge and
expertise in IT to bear on Housing problems, and
particularly those problems where system and
procedural issues have large financial consequence
and lend themselves to a combined organisational
and systems solution.
