The Domestic Abuse System goes live in Sefton Council (Bootle, Liverpool)
October 13, 2016
The Domestic Abuse System goes live in Sefton Council (Bootle, Liverpool)!
Sefton MBC – a long term user of the Caseworks ASB Module – has commissioned the Domestic Abuse Module and becomes the first customer to fully utilise both the Case Management Tools and the MARAC Coordinator tools.
Several enhancements were introduced to the system to facilitate this. MARAC Cases now get their own unique reference, their own caseload and their own Case Status, independent of the Reference, Status etc. for advocacy cases. The two parts of the system co-exist and this allows Advocates to nominate their cases for MARAC, but for the MARAC Coordinator to click the button and put it on the Agenda.
Agendas, Minutes and Action Log are all created automatically for distribution to the partner organisations
All previous MARAC Cases were data loaded. In just one month of operation, Sefton staff have added almost 50 new cases and used the system to convene their first MARAC meeting with it. The Action List from MARAC is now ready to go out.
