South Lanarkshire goes live with the new Mobile App

June 02, 2014

South Lanarkshire Council went live with the new Mobile App in May

This customisation of the standard Mobile Product included Inspection Notifications (for Community Wardens), Fixed Penalty Notices and a Push Notification Emergency Work Queue.  The system was implemented within approximately a four week period.

Brian Holmes, IT Project Manager, described it as a trouble-free implementation.  The end-users have found it so easy to use, that no training was needed

Alison Moore, Anti Social Behaviour Support Manager, said at a recent meeting, that she was hoping to interest another Scottish Local Authority in Caseworks and the Mobile App

At a review meeting, it was also agreed that the “CCTV Sub System” of Estate Management had bedded in smoothly and was being heavily used
