DEBTSYS in Croydon
The following is an extact from a report to Croydon Council:
The primary reason for the continued use of Debtsys at LBC is Debtsysí contribution to Recovery at LBC and at other iWorld sites.
The LBC Benefits service came back in house in April 2004. Debtsys went live at LBC in April 2005. Debtsys use at LBC has coincided with a dramatic increase in recovery. Recovery is now £1.6miilion a year greater than it was in the year immediately preceding its introduction 18 months ago. HUBS recognise that this period coincides with a period where there the performance of the Benefits service as a whole has significantly improved. Current recovery is £2.8m pa greater than in the last year the Benefits service was outsourced.
Debtsys has been associated with significant increases in performance at all its installations. At all iWorld sites recovery in the 2nd year of Debtsys use was more than £1m pa greater than collection in the year preceding Debtsysí installation.
