Portmouth went live with CASEWORKS, following a week
of intensive training.
The Portsmouth system required the most ambitious data load of any Caseworks system so far. Some 5,000 ASB records were imported, from three different sources. Part of the data load, was a requirement to merge records duplicated between systems. In addition, the Portsmouth system has been loaded with Property Data from both Portsmouth City Council and Havant District Council, as a very large Portsmouth Council Estate is located in Havant, and many of the Cases relate to these addresses.
The system has been enhanced specifically for Portsmouth to allow for "Shared Ownership" of cases, reflecting the dual responsibility in their processes.
