The
Caseworks Police Module is designed to enable the
Police Authority to hold its own data, relevant to
Community Policing and Anti-Social Behaviour, in a
separate and secure part of the shared multi-agency
database, interfacing with the Local Authority ASB
module in an appropriate and seamless
manner.
It
addresses the following needs:
1.
Exposing Local Authority / Agency data to the
Police Authority where disclosure of Police Data is
requested for the purpose of achieving an Anti
Social Behaviour Order.
2. Enforcement and monitoring of Anti-Social
Behaviour Orders which are the result of Casework
pursued by the Local Authority / Housing Agency.
3. Recording of the processing and enforcement of a
Closure Order, sharing appropriate data with the
Local Authority.
4. Recording of the processing and enforcement of a
Dispersal Order, sharing appropriate data with the
Local Authority.
5. Recording the warnings and seizure of motor
vehicles used in an Anti Social manner, enabling
visible links, with controlled access to Local
Authority / Agency data where Offenders are common
to both modules.
6. Recording the warnings and referrals of young
persons involved in Anti Social Behaviour, enabling
visible links, with controlled access to Local
Authority / Agency data where Offenders or Victims
are common to both modules.
7. Recording the warnings, conferences and
restorative justice agreements of persons involved
in Anti Social Behaviour, enabling visible links,
with controlled access to Local Authority / Agency
data where Offenders and / or Victims are common to
both modules.
All of the above functions, share the same PERSON
and PROPERTY data, enabling persons involved in
multiple offences or initiatives to be identified,
persons to be searched through a common enquiry
screen and all issues listed and properties and
location information to be mapped.
The system has been designed, so that the Police
can be a full partner to the corporate Anti-Social
Behaviour Initiatives, whilst only logging into the
Police Module, and Police Cases keyed in, in the
Police Module will only be accessible from other
Modules if that is specifically permitted.
