Intelligence Module

THE INTELLIGENCE MODULE IS UNDER DEVELOPMENT, DUE TO BE COMPLETED FOR TWO OF OUR CUSTOMERS BY APRIL 2007

Overview

In a multi-agency situation, it is inevitable that partner organisations will hold data relevant to Anti Social Behaviour, which are held as a part of that organisation’s core system. In this circumstance, it is unreasonable and unrealistic to consider the data being keyed in, as Cases or Incidents, to one of the Caseworks Modules.

Very often, there will, however be Partnership Protocols which permit the sharing of information in one of the following ways:-

1. On a case by case basis for the purpose of Disclosure and Collaboration.
2. At a summarised (anonymous data) level.
3. At a detailed level, sharing incident and / or person details.

Disclosure is fully dealt with, within the Anti Social Behaviour module. It requires the external agency to log into the system and directly input the disclosure details. HUBSolutions is considering a significant future enhancement which would allow external organisation to email their data on individual cases, and this would be matched to the Case in question.

The Intelligence Module is designed primarily to receive data provided at a summary level only or at a Person / Incident level.

Data provided at a summary level, could only be used for strategic reporting and comparison with similarly summarised data from the ASB Module and Notify and Respond Module.

Data provided at Case Level, can be an invaluable source of intelligence and can be actively used to identify hot spots, repeat person involvement, repeat address involvement, and can be automatically linked to Case Records where relevant. It can also be used to provide a strategic overview. For both of these objectives it is necessary that Intelligence Data should include data from existing modules.

Examples of data already provided to CASEWORKS customers are:-

CCTV data
Call Centre Complaints
Police reports
ASBOs achieved by other agencies
Bus company vandalism records
Fire Brigade record
