Domestic Violence Module

This is a new module, under development to meet the needs of several of our customers.

As with all Caseworks modules, it will permit a controlled two way link with the other modules in the i+ family from which referrals will often be made. These are the Mediation and Victim Support Modules. However, security settings are completely distinct, DV-only cases will not list in the search screen for other modules. Members of the public registered under more than one module will be flagged as such in each module, but visibility of DV details to users of other modules can be completely eliminated if required.

Case Tracking and Monitoring
The purpose of the system, will be to track and monitor Domestic Violence Cases. It is designed to meet the requirements of a single office or a multi-agency scenario.
A totally customisable data entry screen, enables new Cases to be entered according to the data which you need to collect. This includes provision for multiple addresses for the victim / survivor and a separate address for the offender. It also includes provision for the entry of multiple types of emotional and physical abuse – customisable options – and the circumstances of abuse, needed for a systematic risk assessment.
There is provision to enter family members at the point of data entry, or as a subsequent update.
There is provision to record and ‘banner highlight’ persons who pose a risk of violence to staff and victims who specifically request that their details are not shared with others or are only shared on an anonymous basis.
After entry of cases, new data pages can be added as required in the progression of the case. This includes:
New and subsequent addresses for the victim / survivor.
Notes for interviews / phone calls etc
Changes to the pattern of abuse
Changed circumstances
Details of the involvement of other agencies
